How to Add Module Position in Joomla 1.5

Joomla 1.5 has a lot of changes compated to the old version of Joomla 1.0 especially in creating module position in the admin panel.

In Joomla 1.0, you can create a Joomla module position in the admin panel, however in Joomla 1.5, you won’t see any option of adding module position on it. So just need to add module position from your html editor like Dreamweaver.

Here how to add position in your Joomla site

Open your TemplateDetails.xml from your Joomla Template
Add the below xml tag under the position category.
<position>advertisement</position>
You have now added a new Joomla position

Open your TemplateDetails.xml from your Template
